Conference History
NETWORK Conference History The annual conference is the major programmatic vehicle of the NETWORK. The site and theme of each conference will be determined in accordance with the timeline below.

A. The conference shall provide opportunities to:
1. meet other professional educators.
2. share experiences and ideas.
3. learn from arts and arts education experts and researchers through attendance at lectures, workshops and presentations.
4. experience quality student performances.

NETWORK conferences must serve as a solid funding source for the organization.

B. Selection of the conference site and theme shall consider the following elements:
1. Appeal to a wide segment of the membership.
2. Provide the potential for attracting quality presenters and a large number of attendees.
3. Focus on more than one arts area.
4. Address timely issues.
