According to our quorum requirements under the articles of incorporation and bylaws, the articles of incorporation require 2/3 of the members to constitute a quorum, and members may attend the meeting in person or to vote by email in order for the action to be valid.  Under DC law, we need at least 2/3 of these members to vote in favor of the amendments to the articles of incorporation.  We need a majority of these members to vote in favor of the amendments to the bylaws.

An electronic message will be sent on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, which members may reply to with their vote, and that all votes shall be received by 8:45 am on October 30th.  We will verify that the member (as opposed to someone else) is in fact voting in order to comply with the law by emailing directly to the contact information for each membership and allowing only one vote (in person at the annual meeting or via email) per member.
